A tournament is being scheduled by Gamespy since the 21th of february and until march 18.
You will have to download the multiplayer demo, and then enter the tournament on this page.
The prize are the full Mark of chaos game, a Logitech G15 keyboard and a G5 laser mouse.
As usual, you have to live in the usa to be eligible.

| Black hole interview at CVG |

Computer and video games (CVG) has posted an interview of two people at Black Hole entertainment. It talks about their experience developping Mark of chaos and the difficulty to make the game in a relatively short time (18 months).
We also learn that there's an expansion pack planned but the developpers don't know if they'll be in charge of it. So it may be a possibility that its development isn't started yet which can push its availability to a year from us, if it is to be.

By chance I fell upon this contest on Gamesradar that is offering a killer computer that I found really attractive :)
If you want to participate, you have to enter the contest before april 9 and have to live in the united states.
Too bad I doesn't meet the requirement :(

| About clans |

To better organize online games and to make easier to find and manage a clan, I was thinking of a tool dedicated to it. After some minutes of reflexion, here are my thoughts on this subject :
- Every member can create a clan.
- The clan can accept everyone (with or without validation) or only on invitation by the clan founder.
- Only the founder can remove members.
- He can also submit a newsletter-like email to members.
- It's possible to organize games between members at a specified date with a recall by mail an hour before.
- Maybe a blog clan ?
- The blog will be public or reserved to members only.
- And on this blog, either only the founder can post or all the members of the clan.
What do you think ? what is usefull, what is not ? Have you more ideas ? |

| Links and online campaigns |

I have added this evening the possibility to include links on your blog which are displayed under your categories.
I also added a link to two new online campaigns which are under preparation. The system is as follow : you subscribe to the campaign, then you create an army with a small history; the campaign map is then divided in provinces and you have to recruit troups to defend and conquer territories.
- The border princes: You play an empire prince or duke, here no chaos, high elves or skavens armies.
- Storm of chaos: Most of the armies, if not all, should be included.

I realized yesterday there were problems which prevented the creation of an account or the confirmation email wasn't sent. These problems are now solved. For those who would like to join the adventure, follow this way !
About the contents of the site, I envisage to add within one week the two missing races, namely the dwarves and the orcs (I had added the skavens last month I think).
for the blogs, I will probably add before the end of the weekend the possibility to add links for the blogger. I also waits to have a little more traffic and the release of the final version of the phpBB3 forum for those who know it. |

After many days of development, the dwarven forges finally finished their last work: the blogs.
It was not a small thing, but this is the first outline of the discussions tools which you have at your disposal on the site.
At the beginning you were able to submit and share images and artworks, then files, you will now have the possibility to open your own personnal blog, to share your ideas, desires or passions on the universe of Mark of chaos or of anything else besides. These blogs are made to create a community of passioned people and I hope that you will take as much pleasure to use this tool than I had to develop it (with some small headaches :p).
To create your blog, you just have to be connected on your account and to click on "My blog".
On this blog, you will find the latest news from the development front and articles related to the game or the dark universe of Warhammer ...
For those who doesn't know it, that is to say 99% among you, I am a dwarf collector (on the table top ...) and the blog title "Karaz Darn" is the name of a small dwarf city located in the black mountains at the south of the Empire.
Moreover, the famous brewery of the not less famous Joseph Bugman is not so far away.
What a dwarf would want in addition of is kazad (dwarf city) and a good beer ? nothing. |
